Lorenzo and I went to the Alamo to view Granny Abigail's bible but lo and behold, nobody knew what I was talking about. Madeline, your Uncle Jerry's sister works at the Alamo library. She confirmed it along with the director. She wasn't there when I went in July 2013. I did see abible but it wasn't hers. There was an Abigail Burleson listed in it who died at the age of 8 years old. So, that was not our Granny Abigail Smith Bardin Burleson's bible. It belonged to the little girls father Col. Burleson. You just don't know how much I cried and frustrated I was. I emailed Kandy Bardin Pruitt countless times but, no response. You need to call down to the Alamo and talk to Madaline in the library.
